World class rugby at Twickenham, championship tennis at Wimbledon and horse racing at Sandown, Kempton Park, Epsom and Ascot are all easily accessible by private or public transport from The Chestnuts.
Throughout the summer there are regular regattas on the River Thames in Richmond. Follow the cycle tracks wending their way along the tow path, through Richmond Park and Bushy Park to the grounds of Hampton Court Palace.
